Achieving greater sustainability – faster and together

Modular engineering, leaner processes, a unified software landscape, and fewer errors – the strategic partnership between engineering software specialist AUCOTEC and Sunfire, a technology leader in the hydrogen sector, solves several challenges facing the electrolysis company at once. Our cooperation platform Engineering Base is the key.

"Engineering Base offers us complete object orientation, crystal-clear navigation options and better electrical and process engineering functions. The partnership with AUCOTEC will help to produce green hydrogen on a large scale and promote profitable business models for an increasingly sustainable world."

Winning with modular design

Renewable energy generation is a rapidly expanding market in which engineering plays a prominent role. The lack of suitably skilled workers can easily become a limiting factor here. Fortunately, these plants are characterized by a high repetition rate for similar elements. This modularity offers a pathway to clearing resource bottlenecks. The modular plant design supported by Engineering Base is the ideal approach for efficient engineering when it comes to both large solar plants and wind parks, and electrolyzers. Many of the HVDC plants for direct current voltage connection of off-shore wind parks have already used Engineering Base for project planning and the platform has also been very much at home with hydropower for a long time.

"The deadline to meet global climate goals is getting closer and the pressure on companies to implement projects within strict timeframes and cost constraints is increasing. Engineering Base provides a platform for overcoming these challenges quickly, efficiently and sustainably, shortening project run times and, at the same time, improving the data quality of the new plants."
