Your areas of responsibility:

  • Developer responsible for database development for our Engineering Base product as part of a SCRUM team
  • Implementation and further development of new and existing functionalities in Microsoft SQL Server as well as associated C++ components, including responsibility for their software architecture 
  • Discussion of the technical concepts with Product Managers and Solution Experts
  • Proactively work together with software quality management to approve the implemented requirements and code reviews
  • Conduct handovers and reviews of new functionalities with Quality Managers, Product Managers and Solution Experts
  • Initiate and manage all tasks in Azure DevOps
  • Assist colleagues from other departments with your expert knowledge

Your profile:

  • Goal-oriented, structured and transparent way of working
  • Enjoy working together with a team of developers and technical experts
  • Willingness to learn new topics and program codes
  • Strong communication skills in German (minimum C1) and English (minimum C1)
  • Advanced knowledge of the following:
    • Transact-SQL / stored procedures
    • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
    • Microsoft SQL Profiler
    • Systematic debugging
  • Basic knowledge of the following:
    • Object-oriented development in C++
    • Development environment and development processes (MS Visual Studio, Azure DevOps) 
    • Confident using version control systems
    • Unit testing frameworks
    • Creation of object models and application of software design patterns
    • UML modeling
