Your areas of responsibility:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, development and sales, to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our engineering software.
  • Translate customer requirements and business objectives into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts align with business priorities, market demands, and customer expectations.
  • Work closely with the development team to define and communicate product requirements, user interfaces, and feature enhancements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing their inquiries, providing product updates, and managing expectations.
  • Conduct product demos, gather user feedback, and iterate on product designs to deliver a user-centric experience.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to define test scenarios, conduct acceptance testing, and ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3 years) working as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in the software industry, preferably with engineering software or solutions for the process industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a datadriven approach.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the process industry, including oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, or related sectors, is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as MS DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
