The qualified communications electronics engineer is one of the "newcomers" in AUCOTEC's Professional Services team. Frank Armgardt (50) has been with the company for a year and has already made a name for himself as an expert in virtual data centre infrastructures. After training and specializing in IT networks, he trained as a certified information engineer. That wasn't enough for him, however, and he became a system administrator with a focus on Active Directory Administration and Virtualization.

Frank Armgardt's expertise in Citrix, VMware and similar solutions is just right for AUCOTEC. He is in demand wherever Engineering Base is embedded in customer infrastructure. "The insights into our customers' IT environments are exciting for me every time," he said. "Not only do I contribute my knowledge here, I often add to it too." When he is not working with virtual worlds, the enthusiastic cyclist likes to tinker around with totally real bicycles or make things with his wife and child at home or in the garden. In addition to the exciting tasks, he particularly values the warm camaraderie at AUCOTEC, which never falls by the wayside, even when the workload is high.
